water funWildlife Action Adventure Camps is just that place. My husband and I were lucky enough to take a tour of the Headquarters in Mullins, SC and I can tell you I wished I was a child again!  A distinctive Pioneer theme dominates the authentic grounds and you feel like you are back in time!   We were so impressed, we decided to become sponsors so that some deserving youngsters could enjoy a week at this amazing camp.  The rustic campground has everything a young person could dream of -all centered around the conservation and preservation of the beautiful outdoor environment and all that it has to offer.  Here is a glimpse of what the campers will experience at WLA:

canoe photo Fishing, swimming, and canoeing are favorites of many of the campers whom are referred to as Pioneers! But there is so much more.  This camp emphasizes outdoor eduction and every activity promotes awareness about the wildlife habitat and educating campers on the stewardship of the good earth.gun site                                                          Camp would not be camp if there were not opportunities to learn about snakes!!  Horseback riding,  archery, gun safety, and skeet shooting (age appropriate) are all apart of the outdoor experience led by skilled and experienced instructors.  This camp is all about passing on to the next generation the 5 point laws for WLA:  education, values of preservation, conservation, sportsmanship, and fellowship.    indian I met campers who live for this camp each year and we have also met some that became counselors.  Learning about the delicate balance of nature through exploring the woods,  and planting trees and gardens and giving thanks for the natural resources we have.   Day camps are available for ages 6-11 starting in June and Overnight camps for ages 9-14 are available in July.  Please check out Wildlife Action Camp and get your pioneer away from their computer and off the couch and go this amazing camp .campers
